Odalarevu is known for its picturesque beauty and tranquility. It is located 22 km from Amalapuram town. Vynatheya, tributary of River Godavari enters Bay of Bengal near this village. It boasts of some good resorts. It is famous for aqua culture and produces high quality breeds. The Adurru Stupam is believed to have been built by Emperor Ashoka's daughter, Sanghamitra and son Mahendra, while they were travelling to Sri Lanka through Odalarevu.
