This was the first-ever Miniature Sheet of India. It was the beginning of the printing of multicoloured stamps. Moreover printing of Miniature Sheet as well as its block performing system both were new to the Security Press Nasik. For the preparation of the sheet they needed 15 impressions to complete it and were issued imperforated. The stamp cutouts were not valid for postage but the sheet as a whole had the postal validity
